Chuckanut N Abelard's BIG Shot Beautiful Billy...attitude, willingness, unending energy and enthusiasm for whatever's next...Billy is an outstanding dog in a gorgeous package. His head is masculine yet offers a soft, loving expression; his proportions are pleasing, sporting a nice short back without excessive length of loin. You don't often see a dog that converges as beautifully as he does coming at you, and his rear is nice and clean going away. His temperament is wonderful -- he loves absolutely everyone and everything he meets. He and Mickey take turns jumping on the grooming table -- they both think it's the most awesome place in the world to be!
In 2007, Billy's father took the first JAM at the National Specialty, and his mother went Best of Opposite Sex. They gained these honors competing over hundreds of the best Golden Retrievers in the country, and I'm honored to co-own him with his breeders, Ken Matthews and Wayne Miller. Billy is still a youngster, and will be shown when he's a little more mature. Check back for his progress!
