   Rant-A-Week

Seems like everyone I know has a blog these days, and I got to thinking about starting up a series of rants covering all kinds of dog (and perhaps people) issues here on the site. These are nothing more than my own personal thoughts, based on experience, and have nothing to do with official statements, policies, ideas or intentions of any other person or organization.

Starting today (Monday, February 12, 2007), and in the Thing-A-Week  tradition of one of my favorite musicians, Jonathan Coulton, I am going to try to write a Rant-A-Week for the next year. We'll see how far I get. If you feel like arguing or disagreeing, go ahead! Send me an e-mail! Dialog is the best way to learn. Just click on the week/title below to visit a specific rant. Thanks for visiting.

     Rant on...

WEEK ONE:  The Color Golden
  (February 12, 2007)

WEEK TWO:  Dog Shows -- Damned If You Do, Damned If You Don't
  (February 19, 2007)

WEEK THREE: I Only Want A Pet...
  (February 26, 2007)

WEEK FOUR: When Bad Things Happen To Good Breeders
  (March 5, 2007)

WEEK FIVE: Food! (or why is something so basic so danged confusing?)
  (March 12, 2007)

WEEK SIX: I Hate to Admit It...
  (March 19, 2007)

WEEK SEVEN AND WEEK EIGHT: I had a litter of puppies that took up all my free time! Forgive me! Maybe I can back-track later. ^^

WEEK NINE: Runt!
  (April 9, 2007)

WEEK TEN: How Many Dogs DO You Have, Anyway?
  (April 16, 2007)

WEEK ELEVEN: Kennel Blindness
  (April 23, 2007)

WEEK TWELVE: Dragnet
  (April 30, 2007)

Wowie zowie. This is a lot harder than I thought it would be -- finding time to write something worthwhile every week. Sorry for those of you who are asking me what happened -- I'm trying!

WEEK EIGHTEEN: Stand Up And Be Counted
  (July 18, 2007)

WEEK NINETEEN: It's a Whole New World
  (April 7, 2008 -- it's my blog and I'll call it Week 19 if I want!)

WEEK TWENTY: What Really Matters
  (April 16, 2008)
