A New Look For Mickey!
My oldest son's girlfriend, Holly Johnson, is an art student working in a variety of media. I knew this, but on Christmas morning when I opened a gift from her I had absolutely no idea the treasure that was hidden inside! When I opened it and saw this painting of Mickey on a burnished wall plaque I burst into tears! I think she thought it made me sad, but truth is it just touched me so much. Now I have something extraordinary to always have with me to remind me of how special Mickey, and Holly, are to me. She used this picture from the internet as her guide...
I don't know if anyone would be interested in supporting this hard-working young artist, but I know she would do an excellent job if you'd like to have an original piece of art created from a photo. You can reach Holly at Holly Johnson. Thanks. :)

Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey is one of those dogs that everyone dreams of owning. He is, first and foremost, a wonderful pet. He tends to pick one person and fall madly in love with them. The handlers who have had him during his show career all remark on how tuned into them he becomes. This is great as long as they don't have to hand him off to someone for Breed. He's loyal, devoted, outgoing, non-aggressive, willing, very trainable and just plain lovely to be with. I love Mickey. The Mickster's mom is one of the
nicest girls we ever bred at Abelard, the beautiful For a closer look at Mickey's pedigree, click here: Mickey has hip, elbow, eye (annually) and heart clearances. He is 24" at the withers and approximately 75 pounds. He has lots of bone, full dentition, a gorgeous masculine headpiece, rock solid topline and lots of athletic aptitude. He is available at stud to select bitches. Mickey had the most excellent Canadian adventure with Tiffany Waite! In five shows he finished his Canadian championship and was honored with four "Best Golden Puppy," three "Best Puppy In Group," two adult Group placements and the coveted "Best Puppy in Show" award. We could not be more excited about this beautiful boy's future!
Mickey first met Tiffany during the 2006 Western Regional Specialty, where on their second trip to the ring he was honored with a 5-point RWD from the 6-9 puppy class under respected breeder-judge Nancy Talbott.
As you can see, this gorgeous guy is just dripping with breed type, featuring a stunning headpiece, fabulous structure and lovely coat. He's an extremely active, biddable dog who does absolutely everything you ask of him -- and more. Our eternal thanks to Pam Hird for
entrusting this guy to us. To view his pedigree, please click here: Come back and visit Mickey soon!
