"Summer"
Am-Can Ch. Balmoral's Hot Legs at Abelard, OD

     Summer remains the reigning Queen at Abelard. Obtained from breeder Tom Burton when she was just seven weeks old, Summer went on to become a champion in two countries, Group place winner,  and an Outstanding Dam by virtue of her many champion kids. "Mickey"
Can Ch. Snowtree's Sorcerer's Apprentice

        Mickey is a loveable, galloping clown, always delighting us with his antics and his sense of humor -- a little like his namesake. We love his structure, his presence, his showmanship and his desire to please. His mother is a Summer daughter, which makes our boy a Summer grandson. "Brett"
Abelard's The Fun Also Rises

     Brett is the daughter of our dearly missed Quest, Ch. Boitano's Band on the Run to Abelard, and is our resident character. Too soft and sweet to compete in the show ring, her structure and pedigree are still meaningful to our breeding program.      If Pearl seems like she's a tad different than the other Abelard dogs, it's because she came from Australia! One of our concerns when breeding Golden Retrievers is genetic diversity, which many believe has a positive impact on longevity and general health. "Taylor"
SouthPaw You've Got a Friend, Abelard

   Taylor has more energy than any three dogs at Abelard and  an outstanding outgoing personality that we treasure. She carries a lovely straight coat and has beautiful sidegait and structure. A driven retriever, Taylor is a daughter of the lovely Abelard's Miss Goody Too Shoes -- a daughter of Scully, who was a daughter of Summer, which makes Taylor a Summer great-granddaughter. >click her pic to visit Taylor's page<
